1. Introduction
Welcome to the website of Amara Soris ("I", "me", "my", or "the Photographer"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and any photography, videography, or related creative services provided by me.
By accessing this website, submitting an enquiry, or booking my services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Services
I provide professional photography, videography, content creation, and related visual production services for individuals, businesses, and organisations.
The scope of each project, including deliverables, fees, timelines, and usage rights, will be confirmed in writing through a quotation, booking confirmation, contract, or invoice.
3. Bookings and Payments
A booking is considered confirmed only after written acceptance and, where applicable, receipt of the required deposit.
Deposits reserve the agreed date and time.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, deposits are non-refundable.
The remaining balance must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule.
Late payments may result in delayed delivery of content or suspension of services until payment is received.
I reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking where payment obligations are not met.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please notify me as soon as possible.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled session may incur a cancellation fee.
Rescheduling requests are subject to availability.
If I am unable to fulfil a booking due to illness, equipment failure, force majeure, severe weather, or other circumstances beyond my reasonable control, an alternative date will be offered where possible. If rescheduling is not possible, any payments made for services not delivered will be refunded.
5. Copyright and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all photographs, videos, edited content, and creative materials remain the intellectual property of Amara Soris.
Clients are granted a licence to use delivered content only for the purposes agreed in writing.
Without prior written permission, you may not:
Copy, reproduce, modify, sell, sublicense, or distribute content beyond the agreed licence;
Remove copyright notices or watermarks;
Claim ownership of my work.
Raw, unedited, or source files are not included unless explicitly stated in writing.
6. Delivery and Editing
Final deliverables will be provided digitally unless otherwise agreed.
Delivery timelines will be communicated during the booking process.
Editing, retouching, colour grading, and creative decisions are performed according to my professional style and artistic judgment.
Additional editing or revision requests may be subject to additional fees.
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
Providing accurate information during booking;
Obtaining any necessary permissions, permits, or venue approvals;
Ensuring that all participants have consented to being photographed or filmed where required by law.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
I am committed to protecting your personal data and processing it in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) where applicable.
Personal information submitted through this website, email, enquiry forms, or during the booking process will be used only for purposes including:

Clients may request restrictions on portfolio use before the project begins.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
I shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of this website or my services.
My total liability relating to any booking or service shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for that service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion would be unlawful.

While I make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and up to date, I do not guarantee that all content will be complete, accurate, or available at all times.
